The Foundations
In summer 1993, Dolphin Junior Club was founded. It is a combination of motherhood and professionalism. The idea resulted from a mother teacher who wished to reward her children along with their friends and their neighbors. Since its foundation, the club's purpose was not the generation of profits. Its main objective was the formation of a friendly assembly of children. Then, the small gathering grew to become a club that raised successive generations. Moreover, a larger number of the previous children participants became active monitors working in the club nowadays.
Location
After years of experience filled with total dedication and careful observation, we noticed that children dislike the daily routine of attending school. That is why the main reason behind this summer camp is to break at least the routine of the fixated location of the school. Within this context, activities are designed in such a way that children have to head on a daily basis to different locations. This will provide children with the precious opportunity of discovering and visiting new places in Lebanon. Dolphins Junior Club is the first and only leader club to venture and adopt this innovative idea.
Aim
The club's main purpose is to provide children with joyful and useful activities. We evaluate our performance on a daily basis by observing and measuring the Joy of our children.
Activities
The first condition that should be met for all of our activities to be included in the program is the provision of an extremely safe environment. The selection of our diversified set of activities such as Share wood camp, Splash mountain, Waves, Put Put, Jana Beach and other destinations that are chosen to make our children's summer an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.
Safety
Children enrolled in our summer camp are continuously under the supervision of our special monitors in such a way that every group of five children will have one monitor. By this way, we make sure that safety and security are provided to the children within an unrestricted environment.
Education
Our daily activities are a rich opportunity for students to discover the beautiful sites of Lebanon and to learn about them. On their way back from the trip, monitors will hold discussion with the children about what they saw and learned from the activities. They will also be open to any type of questions that children might ask.
Habits
Our monitors will make sure to observe all habits of children in a way to reinforce good ones and eliminate bad ones. This procedure will be implemented criticizing the habit it self without making any child feel embarrassed. It is an effective tool as well to help other children benefit from their friends good habits. |
